Excursion to the Botanical Garden – Butterfly House
Classes 3 a and 3 b of the primary school went on a field trip to the Botanical Garden to discover butterflies and plants.
On the way, thanks to Mr Bailey, we were able to visit John Cabot University and take a short break on the terrace overlooking the Garibaldi statue.
In the shade of ancient trees we learnt a lot about bamboo, Japanese gardens and biodiversity. Since we are working on butterflies in our science lessons, the highlight for everyone was a visit to the ‘Butterfly House’ in the Botanical Garden. Wonderful butterflies from all over the world landed on our hats and hands – an incredible experience!
We thank Mr Bailey and Mrs Gadeva for their loving company.
