Hiking trip in the Villavallelonga of Media 3b
What an adventure! In ideal weather conditions, class 3b was able to experience a hiking trip in Villavallelonga that the pupils will remember for a lifetime.
Whether cooking on a fire, hiking on sometimes slippery paths, +or washing in cold mountain wells – the pupils always showed a lot of creativity and perseverance, but also great team spirit and mutual helpfulness. Even more central, however, is the experience that the courage to tackle such an “uncomfortable” project was rewarded with unforgettable experiences. In keeping with the motto and goal of the trip: If you want to experience something you have never experienced before, then you have to do something you have never done before.

Here are some impressions of our students:
I did not expect that we would work together so harmoniously and happily. Enjoying nature and having fun with classmates at the same time was wonderful. I really enjoyed it when we were allowed to run on the meadows and in the forest and when we bathed in the ice-cold water of the fountain. I was impressed that we were given so much trust. For example, we were allowed to go for completely free walks as long as we stayed in a group and helped out later. Our class cohesion is very good, everyone contributed to the beauty of this experience and enjoyed themselves and relaxed.

I really enjoyed these three days in Abruzzo. I learned many things, such as how to cook on the fire. In addition, I learned that you can do anything, if we always think we can’t do it, we won’t do it, so we always have to think we can do it. I liked the tracking best, the panorama was beautiful.

For me, these three days have been a real adventure.
I wasn’t so sure at the beginning, but then I really enjoyed it.
I learned to work in a real team and not like a team in school, it was all about survival! We had three wonderful days in Abruzzo.
We did everything together, even cooked.
A wonderful experience!

The trip to the Abruzzo National Park was awesome! Not only did we enjoy the beauty of nature, but we also put our cooking skills to the test. Risotto cooking competition? Challenge accepted! We even won (according to Klaus, Mrs Frei and Mr Stark’s evaluation)! Although it wasn’t really the most delicious of all delicious risottos, we still won thanks to our good creativity, cooperation and design of the fireplace.
But I have to admit that I was shivering a bit during the night – I only had a summer sleeping bag with me and it was quite frosty outside.
Luckily our chaperones Klaus, Mrs Frei and Mr Stark were there to help us with any challenges with certain tasks.
Overall, we had a great time – laughing, playing and talking together. It was a great opportunity to get to know each other better as a group and strengthen our cooperation. I think we all took something away from it – whether it’s memories, cooking skills or just some new cooking tricks.

I find that not all class teachers are willing to go on a trip with the students, so I would like to thank F. Frei, R. Stark and K. Werner. I also think that there is a very beautiful nature and it is a very good place to do this kind of “adventures”.

I really enjoyed this trip and I also saw a bear.
