Jonathan Rosa (Direktor)
Jonathan Rosa has extensive training and experience as an international educator, recruiter and school administrator.
He spent fifteen years at the SSR, from 2001 to 2016, respectively, as teacher, Prorektor and acting Director. From 2016 to 2018, he was Admissions Education Advisor at College du Leman, in Geneva.
Jonathan Rosa became Director of the Swiss School of Bergamo in 2020, until his return to Rome in 2024. He is also the founder and Director of Rosefield Associates Limited, in London, providing consultancy services to private boarding schools and international educational organisations since 2018.
Jonathan Rosa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science Education (cum laude), from Sapienza Università di Roma, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from Università LUMSA, in Rome, where he also obtained a Montessori Specialisation Diploma for early childhood educators.

Oliver Gywat, Ph. D. (Prorektor Campus Nomentana)
Oliver Gywat received his PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Basel in 2005 and holds the ETH Zurich Didaktizertifikat in physics. He has several years of teaching experience in physics, mathematics and applied mathematics and is responsible for the Matura exams in these subjects at the Swiss School of Rome since the school year 2019/2020. He did postdoctoral research in physics at the University of California at Santa Barbara in 2005-2007 and subsequently worked for about 10 years in the financial sector in Zurich, Switzerland, in various roles, including business development, management support functions, and public policy strategy.
