Swiss Read Aloud Day
Almost 8,000 readers participated in this year’s ‘Swiss Read Aloud Day’! Countless children, young people and adults experienced stories together at various locations in Switzerland… and also at the Swiss School in Rome.
The theme was ‘the BIG ones read to the little ones’, and so the pupils of the primary school organised wonderful read alouds for the kindergarten children. With great enthusiasm, both classics and modern children’s literature were read and listened to attentively. To fascinate the little ones, puppet theatres were made of cardboard, book characters were painted on cardboard and fabulous staging was created for the reading time. A big round of applause for the readers and thanks to the little listeners.
