Visit to the Fao
This Thursday the two fifth classes were fortunate enough to be invited to the YUNGA assembly that takes place annually at the FAO.
The idea behind this event is to educate future generations worldwide to achieve a better life through improved production, healthier nutrition, and a cleaner environment.
The children had great fun participating in all the day’s events which included a virtual journey where the children were able to make sustainability interventions on specific scenarios, observing the outcomes of these interventions and participate in quizzes, as well as watch live performances and artists’ exhibitions. The students were also given a Laissez-Passer which they used to visit a wide range of “Discovery Stations”. Each “Discovery Station” was hosted by a different FAO Division and offered short activities based on the different divisions’ areas of intervention.
